The importance of sound in video production

Hello Everyone,

Its Josh here from Loveridge Designs, this week on “Getting into it with Loveridge Designs” We are going to cover ‘Digital Compositing’

Compositing is the mixture of several layers of images or video components through a combination of processes such as matting, rotoscoping or background projection to produce a final still or moving image. The layer combination may be both a physical operation or a software-based operation.

Compositing is also used for 2D content, layering different images together for print magazines, websites and apps to create advertising and other content. In animation, the technique is often used where pieces

of characters and surroundings to form a complex image. When creating the scene , depth can also be simulated by paralaxing moving layers at different rates appropriate for size.

Compositing on green screens is also used digitally to include virtual environments and sets that can strengthen the experience of the audience and increase the quality of the piece’s output.

Digital compositing helps us to build content that wouldn’t be possible due to the physical limitations of reality. With the help of digital compositing truly breathtaking storys and narratives can be told and conveyed to your audience and hey sometimes a composited piece is closer than you think!

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch the video,
I hope you found it both informative and engaging!
Until next time!
