What is the Production Handover Process?
Hello Everyone,
It’s Josh here from Loveridge Digital, this week on “Getting into it with Loveridge Digital” we are going to cover our production handover process.
For anyone that isn’t aware the production handover process is the last step before you launch your new gleaming video into the world!
During the handover process you will receive your final video in its requested format and sizings which would have been discussed in the pre-production stage.
Typically you will receive your files via an email link which will bring you to our secure proprietary sharing platform that allows us to transfer large files that can be easily accessed on any device, although i will note that we recommend to download via a desktop device rather than on mobile as your final files may be quite large iun size and typically mobile devices have quite limited storage compared to desktop.
Once you receive your final files we always stress that you create a backup of the file for future reference, we do not always store or catalog your projects unless they will be used for advertising purposes within the future, The onus is on you to ensure you keep copies of your project as unfortunately, we may not be able to provide a copy in the future if you have lost it or cant find it!
We do this for a number of reasons but in saying that a major factor is data security, we take your data security extremely seriously and we always want to ensure that your information is secure and will never fall into the hands of malicious actors.
While the production handover process may differ from company to company, we feel we have developed a process that is a happy medium between user friendliness and technical robustness!
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch the video, I hope you found it informative and engaging, until next time.
